My and Sam's fifth anniversary.

Royal Leamington Spa ft Warwick.

Our anniversary was 27th June 2015 but me and Sam celebrated on 28th and 29th June 2015. We went for a lovely adventure in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick and a little section of Daventry. If you want to read about the adventure in Daventry, the hotel we stayed in and the restaurant head over to www.memyselfandcrash2.blogspot.com. They are all there.

This blog is going to be about the adventure we had on our second day wondering around Leamington and a little bit of Warwick. We started our adventure in Pounland buying an energy drink and pain killers then strolling to Boots to by some antihistamines. It is safe to say we were suffering ha-ha. We sat on a bench on the high street chatting and drinking our drinks and taking our tablets.

We walked down the high street to a beautiful park called the Jephens and Mills gardens. It was beautiful, me and Sam were walking around. I am not going to say any more but scroll down the page and see for yourself

We then went for lunch at The Bandstand Tea Rooms, it was perfect we had a classic tea with a side of fizzy drinks.

After lunch we headed to Victoria park which was beautiful and I played on a swing he-he.
We wondered back and stopped for a pit stop in The Pump Rooms, we had a little toilet break
 and a orange Victorian drink.

As there isn't really much more to see in Leamington that was open, we took a quick trip into Warwick and explored St Nicholas' park as we didn't get chance the last time we were in Warwick. We played some mini golf which I won by one point, Walked around the park and had a drink and scoop of ice cream at the little cafe/ice cream parlour, I had candy floss flavour and Sam had Coffee, it was yummy and refreshing.

.

It seems like we didn't do much but I don't want my words to ruin the pictures.

We both had a lovely time and I will definitely go back at some point.

Food, Work, Fun

Saw a friend on a Sunday, Went to work on a Tuesday

and had a date on a Wednesday, and on Friday I was seeing the family.

I saw Maya on Sunday it has become like a weekly ritual, We went to the Toby carvery in Sheldon and spent roughly and hour and a half chatting about work and friends and life in general. We went to Lickety lick across the road for dessert. Maya had the Black forest Sunday as I ate hers last week, I had chocolate overload which wasn't amazing.

I love seeing Maya she makes me feel connected to my friends which is weird. She has seen them like 3 times in the last few weeks and I haven't seen them since January. I do wish things were different between us all but I just don't think it will happen. Maya is training to become a police officer, she is really enjoying it. I wish I had the dedication to do a job like that but I don't think it would suit me.

On Tuesday I had a very stressful day at work, the managers that weren't on shift were using my support staff to help with their jobs and I just felt honestly under pressure. I felt like I couldn't give 100% customer service because I was constantly struggling. I didn't leave work until an hour and a half after the bowl closed. I hope my next shifts aren't like this.

On Wednesday me and Sam woke up and went back to Star City which is the entertainment complex I work in. We didn't go into Tenpin as it was my day off. We went to watch Jurassic World in Vue cinema and because Jacy gave us vouchers we could go gold class which was epic. I have never done anything like that before, unlimited popcorn, recliner chairs WOOO. The nachos we ordered were rubbish, runny cheese sauce and salsa that tasted like it was watered down. Spending more on snacks than tickets I was a little annoyed and I didn't enjoy them much.

Jurassic World was awesome, I am not a massive fan of the Jurassic Park films so I thought it would drag on a bit, It captured my attention and the graphics and acting were really good. I would happily buy it on DVD and watch it again and again. Sam also enjoyed it. After the Cinema we played in Fun Zone on some arcade machines. A Jurassic Park shooting game which Sam won BOOOOO, a racing game which I won YAYYYY and basketball game which again I won ha-ha Sam in your face. We did play some little ticket games and got 71 tickets which we saved for next time.

We then went for dinner in Oodles Noodles and the food was gorgeous but the only down side was the waiting staff, Our main waiter was lovely but some of the others were impatient. It wasn't  very busy yet I hadn't finished my starter and the main was brought out and the waitress was waiting to take my plate while I was still eating my food. It was all a little bit weird. I probably wont go back but the food was nice. Sam adds "and hot".

On Friday I spent the day mainly driving. I took Katie, James, Robert and Lucy to school. I bought Lucy home though because she wasn't feeling very well but she did clean the house and look after the dog. About 11 am me and Sam went to see his Mum at her kitchen in Bordesley Green. Then we went to Erdington to pick up his glasses and had a baguette from Greggs. I dropped Sam home and went back to pick Lucy up and we went to go and collect the kids from school. I bought her a little milkshake and chips from maccies to try and cheer her up.

Hopefully next week is a little bit calmer but more interesting. I doubt it.

Samuel Part 2

My Relationship - The Middle.

Me and Sam have had our issues, we would argue about stupid petty things (we still do this). We have been through so much, a year into our relationship and we had to overcome me having a tumour (which was benign) on my last remaining ovary. I had to have the tumour removed along with my only remaining ovary. I cannot have children and at the age of 21 when you are in a relationship that is not what is meant to happen. I phoned Sam as soon as I found out what had happened to tell him he hasn't got to stay with me, I have nothing to offer him, I cant have babies. He text me telling me how he wants to be with me and my health is more important and he's not going anywhere.

Sam helped me see that I was fat back in 2011, he didn't say it in the best of ways but it was effective a few months after we had this discussion I started watching what I was eating and loosing weight and even exercising using the Wii fit and going for walks. Doing this I lost 8 stone, I hope he was proud of me and I still let him know that his harsh words were what made me change my life. Although it isnt the greatest thing for your boyfriend to say to you, he had to be cruel to be kind.... It worked.

I had the operation and he came to see me in the hospital. I am really lucky to have him by my side. A year later I had Gall Stones and had to have them removed so another operation and Sam helped me get fit after and encouraged me to loose more weight. We spent 90% of our time together because we both didn't have jobs. Our favourite thing to do was watching films and taking mid day naps.

Just before my keyhole surgery to remove my gall stones, Me, Sam, Jacy, Ritchie and H (Sam's Mum, Step dad and His step dad's father) we all went to Sisi, Crete, it was the best holiday I had ever had. Unfortunately a few day before we left Birmingham Sam's uncle died so they were sad on holiday but all of them tried to have fun and tried to push it to the back of their mind. While we were there in the first week Richie got really ill and spent roughly 5 days in hospital. I fell over and really hurt my ankle. Me and Sam rented a quad bike twice we then  drove around Sisi, I drank tons of cocktails, we ate out in all the different restaurants every night and it was gorgeous food, we went exploring old ruins and caves that was where the Greek God Zeus was born. We also had a boat trip around some of the island which was epic. It was amazing and I really want to go back.

Me and Sam spent most of our days in comfy clothes watching films, TV shows and youtube videos. We would eat lots of food and drink squash and fizzy pop. in 2012/2013 we did have a few days out like, Cadbury world, Black country living museum, Birmingham Nature centre, The new birmingham library, Think Tank museum. We have done more but I might write a separate blog about our adventures.

In 2013 I started working and I would say we did drift apart a little because I wasn't with him as much, although I did stay at his house every night after work but I left shortly after waking up in the morning. I was working crazy hours trying to make us money and get a promotion. I did make quite a lot of money but my happiness was at an all time low, not only because I didn't see Sam but I struggled to see my friends and family. Sam spent most of his time in his bedroom playing his PS4 or watching things on his PC.

Through out our relationship Sam has had a few different jobs, Tote bookmakers, Next clothing store, A call centre and British Heart foundation. He has IBS and struggles with his tummy so sometimes working isnt easy. It's hard for me because I am very money motivated and we don't share that passion. I don't really care if Sam works or not, I would prefer it but it isn't everything. Sam is a massive support system for me and although our relationship isn't perfect and sometimes it stress's me out. I would be lost without him.

People always have opinions of other people's relationships but I feel like people judge mine on the basis that Sam doesn't work, that he doesn't do much with his life but it really is none of their business and I choose Sam to be in my life and he helps me through all of the rubbish life throws at me. He makes me a better person physically and mentally. Surely that should be all that counts.

Me and Sam work so well I think because he is like my best friend, we laugh and joke as if we are children. We were friends before we were together so we already knew each other. I feel really comfortable around Sam and I know he does me. We obviously have little habits that annoy one and other but that gives our relationship it's quirks. Sam is very opinionated and I am extremely bossy... You can guess how well our disagreements go Ha.

Samuel Part 1

My relationship - The beginning.

Ok so I have been in a relationship since June 2010 With a person called Sam who is 26 in 12 days.
I thought I would write about how we started our relationship.

This is Sam!

I met Sam in 2009 when he was crushing hard on my at the time best friend Jemma. By the end of 2009 their little flirtatious unrequited love finished and turned their friendship sour. Sam was like a gay friend I honestly had no romantic feelings for him until December 2009 when he lost weight dressed a bit chavvy and actually made an effort with himself. I never looked at Sam the same way.

This is the Jemma and Sam phase.

Out of nowhere we started flirting and doing all those other stupid things when you have a crush on somebody. During this part of my life I had feelings for other people who shall not be named because they are not important enough. It was on the evening of 27th of June 2010 that we actually agreed we both had feelings for each other, through MSN (we are both clearly so romantic). We never asked if we were boyfriend and girlfriend we just said so we're together now, bare in mind it was roughly 2am (technically we got together on the 28th but we don't count it) I had race for life the next day so I needed a good sleep.

I was with my parents and Jemma at the Hobs Meadow pub in Solihull after race for life and I didn't say a word to them. I remember texting Sam trying to find out if we were together or if it was a joke, confused.com. This was my first serious relationship as an adult, I had no idea what I was meant to do suddenly I am somebody's girlfriend.

We didn't see each other for a week which I think was a good thing because I didn't have a clue what I was doing lmao. It was the Saturday after we got together and I had to meet his Mum, OMG (I will do a whole blog on this at a later date) thankfully Sam hadn't told her we were a couple even though she did take our first "relationship photo"

Me and Sam at Jacy's house.

Safe to say after this awkward afternoon I needed a few drinks to calm my nerves. Luckily Jemma was having a house party at her uncles house for her cousins birthday..... I got nice a drunk and that should have made me less awkward around sam and our friends, I hope.

To be continued.......
